In this hands-on basic course, safety in the electronics workshop (AC/DC workplace, electrostatics) is addressed and, in addition, the correct use of measuring devices (multimeter, oscilloscope) and the process of soldering are practised.

Learn the basics of working with electronics!
This safety and basic function course (SBFC) will instruct you in the safe handling and operation of soldering irons and the electronic workbench (AC/DC power supply, multimeter, etc.). In addition, this course provides an introduction to basic concepts of electricity and circuit engineering enabling participants to assemble components into basic circuits and perform simple electrical measurements.This course is a prerequisite for using equipment in the MakerSpace electronics lab!
