Learn the metal workshop basics!
The safety and basic functions course teaches you the proper handling and safety aspects of various metal working machines for cutting, drilling and grinding.
In this course you will create a bottle opener, using the drill press, metal chop saw, horizontal and vertical band saws, as well as various grinding machines.
This safety and basic functions course is a prerequisite for using the machines in MakerSpace!

Minimum Age
- 16 years
- For adolescents between 16 and 18 years of age the consent of a parent is required.
Prerequisite
Fluent English skills
Safety Requirements
Closed shoes must be worn in the workshop at all times. Access to MakerSpace will be denied in case of non-compliance.
